MoreA short, bible study on issues which seniors are currently navigating through, and how God’s Word can bring strength and comfort in the unknown.
MoreRetirement can mean different things to different people. It may mean working for some, and not working for others. It may mean spending time with the grandchildren or taking trips. It may mean finally having the time to serve, or focusing on new paths and career opportunities. Or, it may mean caring for a loved one rather than getting to do something that you desire. Maybe you fall into one, or several of these categories. If so, this study is for you and your church.
MoreThe focus of this Bible study: Assisting older adults in clinging to the faithful promises of God, and “walking alongside” those who want to grow into “mature disciples.”
MoreWhen something is “renewed” it means to: make better, change, strengthen, to prepare for a further task. When a conscious decision is made not to renew, this can be a sign of refusal, apathy, or advocating a position of literal downward decline. As Lutherans, we are a part of a reforming tradition. Through centering alone on the Word of God, Martin Luther set off to renew the Church for God’s mission to be done in the world.
